The special thing is that this feeding station is “jacked up”. It is raised approx. 10 cm from the ground. This allows dogs to eat better or without effort. Why raised bowl? Think of disabled dogs, dogs with walking difficulties, dogs with acute joint problems or animals with hip or spine injuries. Here, an elevated dog bowl makes it much easier for the dogs to eat.
This also applies if your loved one has to wear a neck brace after an operation.
Furthermore, this can reduce digestive problems in dogs that tend to sling.
The two porcelain bowls for dry and wet food (1.5 liters each, Ø 18 cm) are fixed on a base made of solid olive wood. The dog cannot remove the bowls from the base when eating. The bowls can of course be easily lifted from the base by people for cleaning purposes. The base is approx. 40 - 45 cm long and approx. 15 cm wide. 100% nature! We have completely avoided the use of artificial wood protection. Through repeated treatment with olive oil, the wood is sustainably protected against dirt and moisture. On the bottom there are 4 feet (solid beech wood, painted black, height approx. 8.5 cm).
